B.SC Nursing
GNM programme is meant to prepare general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and capable of dealing the competencies in both the hospitals and other such organizations.

Eligibility

10+2 with 45% in Physics, chemistry and Biology and English language with minimum 40% marks

Duration & Age Limit

Duration: 4 years | Age limit: 17-35 years as on December 31 of the admission year.

Admission Process

The following documents have to be submitted at the time of admission.

  • X Class or its equivalent marks sheet with two Xerox copies duly attested.
  • Intermediate (+2) / PDC / HSE or its equivalent mark sheets in original along with two Xerox copies duly attested
  • Transfer certificate from the previous educational institution
  • Migration certificate from students who studied in states other than Andhra Pradesh.
  • 10 pass port sized photographs
  • Certificate of medical fitness from a registered medical practitioner.

Aim & Future Of B.SC Nursing

The aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to: Prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manger in a clinical public health setting.
